Polyserve Power Up Procedure

REMEMBER:
First, power up Athena0 (the head node)
To start the disks:
- First, make sure the power switches in the Clariion controller are in the OFF position
(two switches at the rear of Rack 1, Slot 37) - Then, power up the PDUs in the disk rack. This will turn on all the disks except enclosure FC0
- Wait 5 minutes to ensure the disks are all up and running (check the lights on the front of the box
- Then turn on the power to the Clariion controller (Rack 1, Slot 37)
- Wait 5 minutes
To start the Polyserve nodes:
- The polyserve nodes will not restart if power fails!!! (No AC restore in BIOS)
- FIRST START THE DISKS (see above)
- THE CLUSTER HEAD NODE MUST ALREADY BE RUNNING because it provides DNS and a default route
- Start Athena1 first, wait for it to fully boot (via keyboard/display)
- Once the first Polyserve node is running and has all its filesystems mounted, start the others
