What is 411

411 is essentially NIS.

[edit] To add shares

Exports are controlled by NIS. To add a share, edit the auto. file you wish to add this to: 

 cd /etc
 co -l auto.share
 vi /etc/auto.share
 ci -u auto.share

Now run: 

 make -C /var/411

Now force the nodes to update their NIS info: 

 cluster-fork 411get --all
